This Cookie Policy explains how the R3·POS apps, operated by R3 Lab Inc., use cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

1. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary

Required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off through our controls because the site will not work properly without them — for example, keeping a signed-in customer’s session secure during checkout.

• r3_consumer_* — secure, httpOnly consumer-session cookies set by the storefront when an end-customer signs in. They keep the customer authenticated through ordering and checkout. Because they are httpOnly, they are not readable by client-side scripts.

Functional

Remember choices you make to give you a better, more personalized experience. Disabling them may affect some preferences.

• r3-locale — stores your language preference (for example, en, fr-CA, or tr) so the site renders in your chosen language on your next visit. It is set when you use the language switcher.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the Service — which pages are visited and how the product performs — so we can improve it. These are used only where permitted and, where required, with your consent. Any analytics cookies are aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

2. How to control cookies

You can control or remove cookies in several ways:

• Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before they are set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
• Locale preference — clearing the r3-locale cookie simply resets the site to its default language.
• Sign out — signing out of the storefront clears the r3_consumer_* session cookies for that session.

We may update this Cookie Policy as the cookies we use change. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
